St Johnstone have snapped up West Bromwich Albion striker Marcus Haber on a season-long loan deal.

Baggies striker a long-term target for McInnes

St Johnstone have snapped up West Bromwich Albion striker Marcus Haber on a season-long loan deal. Haber joined West Brom from the Vancouver Whitecaps in January, but he has yet to make a first-team appearance for Roberto Di Matteo's side. He did feature five times on loan at Exeter City last term and has now been allowed out to gain more experience at St Johnstone. The SPL club's manager Derek McInnes has been a long-term admirer of Haber and the forward is likely to be involved in Saturday's friendly against Manchester United. The 21-year-old Canadian has 12 months remaining on his West Brom contract, although the Baggies do have a one-year option on his deal.
