Derby forward Nathan Tyson is confident he will finally hit the goal trail again after an injury-hit start to his Rams career. The 29-year-old moved from East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest last summer but has struggled with a groin injury. His missed three months at the start of the campaign with the complaint before suffering a reoccurrence at the turn of the New Year, meaning he has been restricted to just 10 appearances so far this season without scoring a goal. However, since making his comeback from the bench against Barnsley at the end of January he has started the club's last four matches.

Elusive

The former Reading and Wycombe forward is confident that having regained match fitness he will soon open his account for the Pride Park club. "I feel really good at the moment, the games have been just what I needed," he told the Derby Telegraph. "All I need now is to hit the back of the net. But that elusive goal will come, I'm positive about that. "I'll just get my head down and keep working hard."
