Grimsby manager Neil Woods has bolstered his squad with the signing of Lewis Gobern on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old midfielder was released by MK Dons at the end of the season having joined the League One side from Wolves in July 2009.
He has signed a one-year deal with the Mariners, which takes effect from 1st July subject to a medical at Blundell Park.
Gobern's arrival follows the capture of released Barnsley midfielder Michael Coulson, who impressed during a loan spell last season.
