Sam Togwell has signed a new one-year deal at Sky Bet League Two side Barnet.
The 31-year-old midfielder has made 83 appearances for the Bees and scored his first goal for the club against Leyton Orient in April.
Togwell told Barnet's official website: "I've enjoyed my two years here so far, so I'm happy that this new deal has been sorted so quickly.
"Barnet are a good club - I think I've played well and that I've helped the youngsters that are coming through at the moment.
"I believe that the team can do well next season, after we finished the last campaign strongly. I think that showed us that we can kick on and push up the league, if we start better than last year.
"If I can just improve that middle section next year and keep my end-of-season form up, I believe that I'll have a good 2016-17."
