Barnet goalkeeper Shane Gore has moved to Conference club Stevenage Borough.Barnet goalkeeper Shane Gore has moved back to the Conference with Stevenage Borough.
The former Wimbledon custodian became surplus to requirements at the Underhill Stadium, having made just seven appearances for the Conference champions.
The 23-year-old will now contest the number one jersey with Alan Julian at Broadhall Way, as Stevenage aim for promotion to The Football League next season.
Though delighted to have the services of Gore, Boro boss Graham Westley says the keeper faces stiff competition for a starting role.
"No keeper is happy to just be the number two, but Shane is under no illusions that he faces a tough challenge to get into the side," Westley told Stevenage's official website.
"Alan Julian performed very well at the end of the season and it's good news to have two such fine young keepers at the club now."
