Anthony Charles has signed for a further 12 months at Barnet.
There was no happier man at Underhill recently than Anthony Charles, after the defender signed a contract extension at Barnet.
The 25-year-old stopper was voted Most Improved Player at the London club and has been rewarded by manager Paul Fairclough with a 12-month contract extension.
"I am extremely happy," Charles told the club's official website.
"This is a bit more security for myself."
Some sections of the Underhill crowd had booed Charles during his early months at the club, even though he was forced to play out of position as a make-shift left back.
However, since his move to centre half he has become a firm fans' favourite.
"You turn people's opinions," he continued. "I had an enjoyable run at centre half after Christmas."
