Barnet could offer Adam Birchall a permanent contract at the end of his loan from Mansfield.
Barnet could offer Adam Birchall a permanent contract at the end of his loan spell from Mansfield Town.
Birchall is on loan at Underhill until the New Year and has scored once in three appearances to date.
The striker has impressed Barnet boss Paul Fairclough, who hinted at an offer when the transfer window reopens.
"We are not a club who sign many players on loan and we would only take a loan player if it was with a view to a permanent move," said Fairclough.
"I do not believe in putting players in the shop window.
"Adam wanted to get back to enjoying life and I am pleased with how it is going for him."
