Slade keeping tabs on Cook

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade has not ruled out another loan swoop for midfielder Lee Cook.

QPR winger Cook enjoyed a two-month stint at Brisbane Road earlier this season, making 10 appearances and scoring one goal, after regular O's wideman Dean Cox suffered a knee injury. Slade admits he would love to bring 29-year-old Cook back to east London but accepts they could face stiff competition for his services. "You would never rule out somebody of Cookie's calibre and ability even though we have got Coxy fit again," Slade told the Guardian Series. "It is something that is a possibility. The only thing I would say on that is that he may well have a couple of Championship clubs keen on him."
