Iro: Dons clash a six-pointer

Barnet defender Andy Iro admits Saturday's meeting with fellow strugglers AFC Wimbledon is a "six-pointer".

Iro is hoping to make his Bees debut in the relegation clash at Underhill after joining on loan from Stevenage a fortnight ago. Barnet remain bottom of the table despite their upturn in results since Edgar Davids became joint head coach, but a victory would see them climb above the Dons. "The Barnet team has picked up since Edgar arrived but the AFC match is a real six-pointer," Iro said. "I watched their game at MK Dons in the FA Cup last week and they did well against a side pushing for promotion in League One. "They have some good players but, like ourselves, the emphasis has to be on team. In this league if you win one game, then another, then another, then players start to realise they are a good team. "So I think we are looking at this game as one which could really get us going."
