MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has rejected the notion of striker Ryan Lowe joining Tranmere on loan.
Rovers boss Ronnie Moore claimed a deal was almost completed for the former Sheffield Wednesday hitman on Friday before the plug was pulled. Robinson does not subscribe to that version of events and claims if Lowe, 34, does move away from Milton Keynes it will not be to the side currently leading the way in League One. "If I get someone in then there's a possibility but he's definitely not going to a club who are top of the league," he told MK News. Lowe joined the Dons in the summer and has scored once in 14 appearances this season, with eight of those coming from the bench.
