Boston United have rejected Kidderminster Harriers' offer for Chris Holland.Boston United manager Steve Evans has rejected an offer from Kidderminster Harriers for midfielder Chris Holland.
Harriers boss Stuart Watkiss has been keen to find a new midfielder for his struggling League Two squad.
The former Mansfield Town manager was reportedly rebuffed in his attempts to re-sign former Aggborough man Dean Bennett from League One club Wrexham.
Watkiss's pursuit, however, prompted him to move for the former Preston North End, Newcastle United, Birmingham City and Huddersfield Town player, with reports in the Midlands suggesting a deal for Holland was close to completion.
However, Pilgrims boss Evans told skysports.com that Boston have rejected Kidderminster's approach for the 29-year-old.
"Kidderminster Harriers won't be signing Chris Holland," Evans revealed.
"They made an enquiry about him and we recognised that enquiry.
"We have a good relationship with Stuart [Watkiss], but I told Stuart this [Tuesday] morning that Chris Holland will not be leaving Boston United."
