Wrexham's Craig Morgan rubbishes talk of his departure from the club.
Wrexham defender Craig Morgan has moved swiftly to quash rumours of a move away from The Racecourse Ground.
The 19-year-old centre back has dismissed speculation linking him to a Premiership move as nothing more than "paper talk".
The Dragons are enduring a rollercoaster season, as they try to ignore the prospect of the forthcoming LDV Vans Trophy final in order to concentrate on avoiding relegation.
The much sought-after Morgan has been a rock at the heart of Wrexham's struggle against relegation, and manager Denis Smith would be desperate not to lose him.
With Crystal Palace and Southampton both said to be preparing a summer swoop, Morgan has stated that his current club's fortunes are his main priority.
"Although it's flattering to have my name linked with such clubs, all I'm thinking about at the moment is having a great day out in Cardiff for the LDV Vans Trophy final and helping the club to stay in the division."
And the Wales Under-21 international refused to get carried away by any rumours, saying: "Nobody has said anything to me about those clubs being interested in me, so I think it's just paper talk to be honest."
