Millers still wait on Wilson

Image: Wilson: Remains an inujry concern

Rotherham assistant boss Paul Raynor has ruled out any chance of defender Laurie Wilson making this weekend's clash with Oxford.

The left-back has missed the last three games with a knee injury sustained in the 6-2 mauling at Port Vale and a scan has shown inflammation in the joint. He has returned to light training this week, but will play no part against Chris Wilder's men on Saturday. "Laurie has trained a little bit this week, but he is having a little bit of discomfort with his knee," Raynor said. "It's nice that he has been on the training ground, but there is a little bit of soreness there. "The scan was quite positive. There was some inflammation, it's still quite tender so we are going to err on the side of caution."
