Torquay striker Adebayo Akinfenwa has been offered a new two-year deal.Torquay star striker Adebayo Akinfenwa has been offered a new two year deal but the club admit they would consider offers.
The promising young hit man has managed 16 goals this term, despite the fact Torquay failed to beat the drop, and has previously stated a desire to stay in Devon.
However, whilst an offer is on the table, Torquay chairman Mike Bateson admits they would not stand in the player's way should a big money bid be made.
''We made a slightly improved two year offer to Bayo and he will talk to his agent,'' Bateson told the club's official website.
''He would like to stay with us but we will talk to any club making a substantial offer.
''In the event of him leaving we would be entitled to compensation by means of a direct offer or by a fee to be decided by tribunal.''
