Sky Sports understands Torquay United have accepted a bid from a mystery League One club for midfielder Eunan O'Kane.
The 22-year-old missed Tuesday's pre-season friendly against Tiverton Town amid the speculation about his future and he appears set to leave Plainmoor.
O'Kane has previously this summer been a target of newly-promoted Swindon Town and their new League One rivals Crawley Town after impressing with United in League Two.
The former Everton trainee made 51 appearances in all competitions in 2011/12, which included helping Torquay to the play-offs.
And O'Kane could now step up to League One despite his current club failing to earn promotion as he considers a move.
