Labadie, who scored the winning goal for the Gulls against Rochdale on Tuesday night, was handed the lengthy ban after appearing to bite Chesterfield's Ollie Banks during Torquay's 3-1 defeat at the Proact Stadium last month.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who requested a non-personal hearing, denied the charge but an independent regulatory commission hearing found it proven.
League Two strugglers Torquay issued a brief statement on their website saying they were considering whether to appeal.
"Torquay United can confirm we have received notification of the verdict from the FA on Joss Labadie's misconduct charge," read the statement.
Banks took to Twitter following the incident to express his revulsion and share a photo of his injured torso.
"I can't believe another human has taken a chunk out of my ribs in a football game! Disgusting!' tweeted Banks.
