St Johnstone have called a pitch inspection for 10am on Saturday morning ahead of their Scottish Premiership clash with Hamilton Academical.

Temperatures at McDiarmid Park will dip below freezing overnight and match officials will check to ensure the 3pm kick-off can go ahead.

Saints have not scored a goal since December 5 when they beat Ross County 3-2, suffering league defeats to Celtic and Motherwell before being knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Kilmarnock last weekend.

But they will hope to get the game on against Hamilton, who themselves are struggling having been dumped out of the cup in a 4-1 reverse to lowly Annan Athletic.
