Inverness Caledonian Thistle's Scottish Premiership match with Hearts at the Caledonian Stadium was postponed on Saturday because of a waterlogged pitch.
The game was scheduled to kick off at 12.30pm, but after a 7.30am pitch inspection, the playing surface was deemed unplayable by the match officials, who subsequently made the decision to call off the fixture.
On Friday, both clubs released statements insisting that they were keen to make an early decision on whether the match would be able to take place, in order to avoid any unnecessary travel and inconvenience for both sets of supporters.
Inverness confirmed the news via their official Twitter account: "Today's Match v Hearts has been postponed due to waterlogged pitch and forecast of further poor weather."
Partick Thistle's Premiership clash with Dundee United also fell foul of the weather.
Following an 11am pitch inspection at Firhill, the match official made the decision to postpone the game after deeming the playing surface waterlogged.
