Rangers have made MK Dons defender Lee Hodson their latest summer signing for an undisclosed fee.

The full-back was part of Northern Ireland's Euro 2016 squad and worked with Mark Warburton at Watford and Brentford earlier in his career.

Hodson also has Scottish Premiership experience having spent a period on loan at Klimarnock last season, making 17 appearances.

The 24-year-old has signed a three-year deal and is the eighth new arrival at Ibrox since promotion was secured.

United States international defender Oguchi Onyewu could be the ninth after he was pictured training with the squad on their pre-season trip to South Carolina.

"We will see how he gets on," Warburton said. "This is the first time I have seen him. He will need the first couple of days to acclimatise in terms of the pace of the session and getting to know the boys.

"We are having a look at him physically in terms of his shape and dealing with the technical level. We will see how he gets on.

"He's very promising. He's suffered some injuries in the past and maybe hasn't realised his potential yet. He's certainly one to look at now he's more mature. We will see how he gets on."
