Hamilton midfielder Massimo Donati has signed a new contract with the Scottish Premiership club.

The 35-year-old joined Martin Canning's side in July and made a scoring debut against St Mirren in the League Cup.

Donati, who has played with AC Milan, Celtic and Verona, has agreed a deal which will keep him with the Accies until the summer of 2019.

Meanwhile, striker Rakish Bingham has extended his stay with the Lanarkshire club until May 2018.

Bingham was signed from Hartlepool in August and previously played for Falkirk during a loan spell from Wigan.
