The Frenchman endured a difficult time at Ibrox after arriving at the club last summer.
Le Guen left Rangers after just six months in charge to be replaced by Walter Smith .
The former Lyon coach is back in management with Paris Saint Germain and he insists he bears no grudges about his spell at Ibrox.
"(I have) no regrets because I repeat it was a great period for me and my family," said Le Guen.
"There are regrets for my family because they were disappointed to leave Scotland. They were pleased to spend time in Scotland, so that was disappointing."
Le Guen was also remaining coy on speculation linking PSG defender Bernard Mendy with a possible move to Celtic.
Mendy has claimed Celtic are interested in his services and that he would welcome a move to Glasgow.
Le Guen was giving nothing away when asked if Celtic had enquired about the former Bolton star.
"We are very happy that Bernard Mendy is still with us," said Le Guen.
