Killie boss laments injury problems

Kilmarnock duo Danny Invincibile and Eric Skora face a spell on the sidelines through injury. Australian striker Invincibile has undergone an operation on his troublesome groin problem and he has been ruled out for six weeks. Midfielder Skora is expected to be out for longer than Invincibile after straining knee ligaments in training. Killie boss Jim Jefferies confirmed the injuries to the duo and admitted it was a major blow to the pair.

Operation

"Danny's been really down because the same injury he had the operation on last season had come back," Jefferies told the Daily Record. "We were worried he'd be out for the whole season but thankfully it's not as bad as that although he will be out for six weeks. "Eric is going to be out for two months. It's a blow as everyone thought he was over those problems. "Eric did it in training rather than a game and that's the most frustrating thing. His studs got struck in the ground and he jarred his knee."
