Celtic's Scott Brown accussed Benfica's Augustin Binya of trying to break his leg in Tuesday's Champions League game at Parkhead.
Binya was shown a straight red card by Swedish referee Martin Hansson for a tackle which forced the Celtic midfielder to limp off with five minutes to go.
And Brown has now urged Uefa to take action against Binya for his lunge.
"I'm all right. It was a bad challenge but I've come through it," Brown told Sky Sports News.

"(It's) shocking. I don't think the guy should ever have done that. He obviously tried to do me as hard as possible."
Brown was left in no doubt that Binya attempted to break his leg. He said: "Yes I think he did, but I want to fight another day. Hopefully Uefa will deal with it properly. The referee dealt with it very well and sent him off right away."
Aiden McGeady grabbed the only goal of the game to earn a much-needed win for Celtic.
