Hendry leaves Clyde

Clyde manager Colin Hendry has resigned from his post on "compassionate grounds".

Former defender leaves for personal reasons

Clyde manager Colin Hendry has resigned from his post due to compassionate reasons. The former Scotland and Blackburn defender took the reins at the First Division side last summer but has had to cut short his tenure due to personal issues. A club statement on the club's official website read: "Clyde Football Club regrets to announce the resignation of Colin Hendry on compassionate grounds to concentrate on his family commitments at this difficult time. "We wish to place on record our gratitude to Colin for his outstanding loyalty and contribution to the club and wish him and his family well in the future."
