Rangers new boy Steven Davis is confident the club can hold off Celtic to win the SPL title. Davis joined Rangers on loan from Fulham on transfer deadline day after being allowed to leave Craven Cottage. The Northern Ireland international is relishing the prospect of playing in Scotland and helping Rangers to achieve success this season. "Obviously I don't know what to expect, but I have seen a lot of games having been a Rangers fan," Davis told Sky Sports News.

Challenging

"We are at the top end of the table and challenging for honours on all fronts, so it is exciting times at the club and I am glad to be part of it." Rangers are currently four points clear of Celtic in the SPL and Davis expects the title race to go down to the wire. "They [Celtic] are always going to be challenging and it is always going to be a tight race to end, but we feel we have enough quality to see it through until the end of the season."
