Jean-Claude Darcheville claims he is wanted by clubs in England, but insists his priority is to stay with Rangers.
The French striker joined Gers from Bordeaux last summer and has scored 11 goals in 33 appearances for Walter Smith's side.
He has a further 12 months remaining on his contract and has conceded he could envisage finishing his career at Ibrox.
However, the former Nottingham Forest forward also says that clubs in England have informed his agent of their interest.
Good atmosphere
Darcheville told
www.sport.fr: "I'm thinking of staying here next season and even ending my career here, if we can ever negotiate in that sense.
"Some English clubs have contacted my agent, but my priority is to stay.
"I enjoy it here, things are going well, there is a good atmosphere, so everything's good."
Rangers are six points ahead of Celtic after last week's Old Firm win, but Darcheville is not taking an SPL title medal for granted.
He added: "The match went very well for us, we did what we had to do and the atmosphere was magnificent.
"Now we're six points clear with a game in hand. If we continue like that, we have a good chance of winning the title.
"I think we have given ourselves a chance, but we can't say that we're champions yet. We have a game in hand, but that doesn't mean we'll win it, and secondly we have to play Celtic twice at their place."
