Hibernian have suffered a blow with the news midfielder Merouane Zemmama will miss the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his foot.
The Moroccan star picked up the injury during a training session and scans have shown he has broken the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot.
It means the 24-year-old will miss the final four games of the season as Hibs fight to qualify for Europe.
"It's a big blow because Merouane has been playing so well but unfortunately these things happen," manager Mixu Paatelainen told the Edinburgh Evening News.
"There was no collision or anything like that, Merouane simply turned in training and his foot felt sore."
