Championship and SPL interest in winger

Alan Gow is determined to secure a move away from Rangers before the close of the transfer window, skysports.com understands. Gow is keen to move on after a frustrating 12 months at Ibrox following his arrival from Falkirk. The 25-year-old has only made two first-team appearances for Rangers as he does not fit into Walter Smith's style of play. Gow came close to a move to Burnley earlier this summer only for the deal to fall through at the last minute, while Norwich also held talks with the Scotland B international. Birmingham are believed to be keeping a watching brief on Gow's situation with Alex McLeish an admirer of the versatile attacker. A number of SPL sides are also thought to be interested in Gow with the player earning himself a reputation as one of the most exciting attackers in Scotland during his time at Falkirk. Gow is hoping to resolve his future before the transfer window slams shut so that he can get his career back on track.
