Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc could make a surprise comeback in the UEFA Champions League game against AaB Aalborg.
Boruc will undergo a knee operation on Monday and had initially been expected to be sidelined for around a month.
However, Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan feels the Pole could return within a fortnight, putting Boruc in contention for the 25th November trip to Denmark.
"It will be closer to two weeks than two months for Artur," said Strachan in the Daily Record.
"We can do nothing about his operation taking place at this time because it's the club doctor's decision."
Mark Brown replaced Boruc for Saturday's 2-0 win at home to Motherwell and Strachan has confidence in his goalkeeping understudy.
He added: "Mark is ready for it. I have never seen anybody prepare as well for an opportunity as he has.
"He has left no stone unturned and given us an incredible professional performance over the last five or six months to get himself ready for when he will be needed.
"He has no fears that when he plays he could have done anything else in preparation for his opportunity."
