Steve Pressley is confident Stephen McManus will be fit and available to play against Holland, but says Scotland's squad is strong enough to cope if he misses out.
McManus is currently in a race against time to figure in his country's upcoming World Cup qualifier, after picking up an ankle injury in training prior to Celtic's 2-2 draw at Dundee United on Sunday.
Pressley remains confident the 26-year-old will be available to line-up against Holland this weekend, although he is backing the squad to have enough strength in depth to cope in his absence.
"We've said a number of times that everyone in the squad has got a part to play. At this moment in time we feel that we've got a very strong squad," he told Sky Sports News.
"You look at the centre-backs who are available right now in David Weir, Gary Caldwell, Darren Barr who plays alongside myself (at Falkirk) and Christophe Berra. So we've got numerous players in that position.
"We have the players than can step in. If need be we'll have no hesitation in putting any of the other players on.
"At the moment we're confident that Stephen will make the weekend. If he doesn't George will sit down and discuss things with Terry (Butcher) and come to the right option.
"Stephen and Gary have been very successful at Celtic. They know each other's game and have formed a very good partnership."
