Bhoys boss tipping summer signing to improve

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has expressed his delight at Gary Hooper's form following his summer move from Scunthorpe United. The 22-year-old has proved a quality addition for The Bhoys as he has scored nine league goals in just eight starts. Hooper and Anthony Stokes have formed a lethal partnership up front and Lennon believes there is plenty more to come from the striker.

Pleased

"I'm really pleased with him. He has scored important goals, but we think he has more to his game than that," explained Lennon. "Gary has had the knack for a long time of being in the right place at the right time. And he can score different types of goals as well. "He's still 22 and has only been here a short space of time. But he has impressed a lot of people."
Target
Hooper is enjoying his time with Celtic and says he aims to catch Rangers' Kenny Miller, who has a whopping 18 league goals to his name. "Everyone has been good to me here," said Hooper. "The gaffer has given me a chance and it has gone well. "My target is still to catch Kenny Miller, and I am going for that."
