Hearts midfielder Ian Black is hopeful of shaking off a hamstring strain to feature in their weekend trip to Inverness.
The former Blackburn trainee sustained the injury in last Saturday's goalless clash against Motherwell at Tynecastle.
Black left the game just after the hour mark, although he does not fear he will be forced to sit out their Caley fixture.
"I had a wee problem with my knee but strained my hamstring and had to come off," he told the club's official website.
"Hopefully I'll be fine for this weekend."
Dundee United closed the gap on third-placed Hearts on Saturday, although Black is confident manager Jim Jefferies will guide the team home.
"We'll focus on ourselves and our own game, although Dundee United winning their game will give us a wee kick up the backside," he continued.
"Hopefully it gives us that extra motivation to wrap third place up quickly.
"The gaffer knows what he's doing. He's got it right all season and he'll make sure we're all ready and fired up for next weekend and for the rest of the season."
