The Dons have an opportunity to return to second place in the Scottish Premiership if they can beat Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday.
Aberdeen go into the match on the back of a 2-1 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice on Wednesday, when they recovered from going a goal down to defeat another of the team's hoping to secure European football next season.
Anderson said: "I think would have been an ideal example if we wouldn't have been able to handle it - we could well have buckled after going a goal down.
"I don't think the players really feel that pressure.
"If there is a pressure I'd rather it was that kind of pressure than the pressure you face when you are down the bottom end of the league and trying to make the top six or you are struggling from game to game trying to get a victory here and there.
"At this moment in time we can't wait for the games to come around quick enough and you'd much rather be in that camp than the other one."
