Samaras and Ledley are out of contract in the summer and Celtic are trying to thrash out new deals with the pair, who have enjoyed successful spells with the Glasgow club.
Chief executive Peter Lawwell met Samaras on Saturday and the striker will stay behind when Celtic jet out to Turkey for a winter break on Monday.
Lennon hopes the Greek international, who has been at Celtic since 2008, will agree fresh terms and there will be further talks about Ledley's future this week.
Samaras sat out Sunday's match at St Mirren due to a hamstring injury, but midfielder Ledley helped the Scottish Premiership leaders claim a 4-0 win.
Speaking after the match, Lennon said: "Georgios has a bit of time to think about his future."
"He won't be coming to Turkey, he will be staying to have some treatment and hopefully we will have an answer one way or the other on his future when we come back.
"He had a meeting with Peter yesterday. You are never confident one way or the other. He has a lot to think about.
"It is a big contract for him, he is 29 so the next three or four years of his career is important.
"We would like him to be here but that may not be the case.
"Joe's representatives are coming up on Tuesday so hopefully we will get something resolved there one way or the other."
