Kiss opened the scoring before debutant Yoann Arquin - who has joined from Notts County - doubled their advantage in the second half.
Kiss sealed the win with a stunning 30-yard strike shortly afterwards to ensure County maintained their unbeaten start to 2014.
A delighted Adams praised the raft of new arrivals who helped the side beat Dundee United insisting County need to continue winning if they are to achieve their stated objective of avoiding relegation.
"It was a very good win. We have beaten three teams in the top six now, the players who played today were excellent," Adams said.
"The new signings who have come in have all performed well. It worked well for us last year and this year it has as well.
"It takes a brave manager to do what I have done today and play six new players. It's worked well for us we've taken 10 points from four games. Filip Kiss' two goals today were exceptional.
"He's great to watch, the people here will be delighted to see the quality he's got, he is a fantastic football player, he's quality on the ball. To score four goals in two games has really helped us. It has helped the other players at the football club.
"To win against a Dundee United side people have been talking about the whole season and to win 3-0 is great.
"Our main purpose is to stay in the league. We know the limitations we have at the football club. We are not in the same spectrum as everybody else - we just want to keep on winning games."
Dundee United manager Jackie McNamara admitted his displeasure in the manner in which his side conceded against County, insisting the mistakes had cost them dearly.
"I'm disappointed with the first two goals we lost, especially the first one," McNamara said. "We looked soft at the back and they dominated us. I thought we could have handled it better.
"We started well enough but lost our discipline after the first goal. They got a lot of free-kicks around the edge of our area but you have to defend them properly and at times we didn't.
"It's little things that cost you. The shape when we lost the first goal for example. If you don't defend properly you put yourself under pressure."
