Inverness Caledonian Thistle have signed DR Congo international Andrea Mbuyi-Mutombo ahead of their Scottish Premiership opener against Motherwell this weekend.
The Belgian-born forward has signed a one-year deal, with the club holding the option of another season.
The 25-year-old, whose sole international cap came in 2011, joins from Frejus Saint-Raphael in the third tier of French football.
He has previously played for the likes of Cercle Brugge and Rijeka, who were recently knocked out of the Europa League second qualifying round by Aberdeen.
Inverness boss John Hughes said: "Andrea came across on trial a couple of weeks ago and we've been very impressed with him in both training and the trial game he played against Nairn.
"He is still slightly off it in fitness terms but that will come with games.
“He can play in all positions across the front, either on the wing, behind the first striker or as that first striker and we are looking for a big contribution from him this season."
