The home side had new £900,000 signing Marcus Gayle making his full debut, but he was overshadowed by the visitors very own superstar Claudio Caniggia (pictured).
The Argentinian grabbed the opener after 14 minutes. Georgi Nemsadze had a free kick charged down, but the Georgian followed it up and following good work from Javier Artero, Barry Smith set-up Caniggia in the area and he finished brilliantly from an acute angle.
The home side then had defender Craig Moore sent-off for two yellow cards, before young striker Steven Milne scored a header to wrap up the points for Ivano Bonetti`s side in the last minute.
Celtic emphasised that they are the class act in Scotland with a 2-1 victory at St Johnstone.
Tommy Johnson opened the scoring with a header from Alan Thompson`s cross, but The Saints pulled level through Stuart McCluskey, just before half time.
Martin O'Neill`s side pushed forward in the second half and Swedish ace Henrik Larsson produced the winner just after the hour mark.
Once again Thompson created the chance with a cross from the right and the former Feyenoord striker rose to head his 44th goal of the season.
Meanwhile, Hearts closed the gap on fourth place Kilmarnock with a comfortable 3-0 win at Tynecastle.
However, Craig Levein`s side left it late and only grabbed the opener after 72 minutes through Austrian Thomas Flogel.
Spaniard Juanjo (77) and Scott Severin (90) wrapped up the win for the Edinburgh outfit, who now lie just three points behind Bobby Williamson`s men.
