Beattie has made just one appearance for the SPL champions this season, with his path to the first team blocked by the likes of Henri Camara and Juninho.
The promising young forward signed a new contract with The Bhoys back in January but does not feel it is necessary to move away from Parkhead to play football regularly.
He is aware of the competition for a spot in Martin O'Neill's line-up but is content to knuckle down and force his way past his team-mates.
"I made my decision when I signed for Celtic as a teenager," said the 20-year-old.
"I knew I was joining a massive club and I pushed myself to the extent that I made the first team squad.
"Now I've got to work hard to grab the manager's attention. I'm looking for a break and the summer signings made no difference to my situation.
"You have to fight for the right to get a game and show patience at the same time.
"Managers have squads because they need replacements for those who are injured or rested."
