Craig Brewster has soothed the row between Malcolm Thomson and Gordon Strachan.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss Craig Brewster has played down the spat between Malcolm Thomson and Gordon Strachan.
Thomson was upset when the Celtic boss refused to shake his hand after the two sides drew 1-1 on Sunday, while he also accused the Highlanders of unsportsmanlike conduct.
The disagreement stems from an incident during the game when Brewster almost snatched a winner when pressuring Celtic keeper Artur Boruc after they had thrown the ball to him in the wake of a Caley player receiving treatment.
But Brewster believes the whole incident has been blown completely out of proportion, saying: "There is absolutely nothing in it at all. It's a major over-reaction."
