Beattie tore his hamstring in Celtic's victory over Dundee United at the end of October and has been on the sidelines ever since.
However, the striker is expecting to be back in full training by the end of the month after stepping up his rehabilitation and is hoping to be involved in the Hampden Park showpiece on March 19.
"I'm looking to be back in full training in the next two to three weeks," he revealed.
"It's been really frustrating, quite similar to the start of last season when I started really well. Being injured is the worst thing about being a football player.
"But, fingers crossed, I am over the worst of it. Hopefully I'll be back playing in the next four weeks
"If I can get a good week's training then I should be available for selection and will definitely be looking to be back for the CIS Cup final."
Beattie is also targeting a return to the Scotland squad for the trip to Japan this summer, after forcing his way into Walter Smith's plans for the last three games of the World Cup qualifying campaign.
"I'd like to be in the squad for Japan. After missing so much of this season it would be great to be involved in that," he enthused.
