Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has vowed to remain at Parkhead.
Gordon Strachan has vowed to remain at Celtic despite being linked with a move to England.The former Southampton and Coventry boss is thought to be a possible target for Manchester City and Newcastle.
However, Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell is confident that Strachan will stay on at Parkhead.
Strachan insists he is happy at Celtic and has no plans to move on anywhere.
"Where else would I go? I just love this club and no one man is bigger than Celtic," Strachan told the Daily Record.
Strachan was also remaining coy on speculation linking Celtic with a move for Everton striker James Beattie.
Reports on Sunday suggested Strachan was lining up a move to be reunited with the former Southampton hit-man.
Beattie is well down the pecking order at Goodison Park and he is being strongly linked with a move away from Everton in the summer.
Strachan refused to rule out a move for Beattie saying he had a lot of targets on his list for next season.
"I know James, but if I was going to do something with him, I would talk to his manager, Davie Moyes, first," added Strachan.
"There's a lot of names, a comprehensive list and, for all I know, James Beattie's name might be there somewhere."
