Celtic captain Stephen McManus should be able to play in Scotland's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Iceland.
Scotland manager George Burley was left sweating after the 25-year-old defender appeared to pick up an ankle injury during Celtic's 4-2 defeat to Rangers on Sunday.
The games against Macedonia on Saturday and then Iceland on 10th September are Burley's first competitive matches in charge of the national team.
But he remains relaxed about the challenge ahead, despite several injury worries.
The Scotland boss said: "There are four or five players to be checked but McManus should be fine.
"They are all desperate to play but you get on with it. You can't start blaming injuries.
"I've got a good idea of my team in my head and that hasn't changed over the weekend."
