The Pars stretched Alex McLeish`s men in the first-leg, but were no match for The Gers at Ibrox.
An early mix-up involving Pars keeper Derek Stillie allowed Peter Lovenkrands to bear down on goal and the Dane made no mistake by arrowing a low shot into the corner.
The goal came as a blow to the visitors, who wasted a gilt-edged chance moments earlier when Steven Hampshire shot wide when clean through.
The second, on 20 minutes, came from a typical driving run from Gers skipper Barry Ferguson (pictured).
The midfield dynamo burst onto an Arthur Numan cross and headed past Stillie.
Mikel Arteta made the game safe on 54 minutes when beating the offside trap and clipping a neat shot over Stillie and into the corner.
The Gers were joined in the last four by Dundee, who needed extra-time to see off Falkirk.
Stuart Taylor stunned Dens Park when firing home a long-range effort on 32 minutes, but Fabian Caballero hauled the home side level shortly before the break.
The game went into extra-time, and it was Dundee who sealed the win when Mark Burchill latched onto a long ball before chipping a shot into the net.
Steve Lovell scored a third and Falkirk`s hopes ended when Mark Kerr was sent off minutes later.
Lovell scored a fourth on 107 minutes as the Division One side wilted.
Rangers face Motherwell in the last four, with Dundee handed the task of stopping giant-killers Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
