Henriksen has only just returned to training but hopes to be fit enough to be back in action at the weekend.
"Right now, it looks good," Henriksen told BT.
"It's now a matter of not stressing things, because then the break can suddenly become lengthy.
"I am practicing on my own Tuesday and Wednesday and then I will have an X-ray Thursday or Friday to determine if I will be fit for the weekend."
The Denmark captain hopes to be fit for the crucial European Championship qualifier versus Bosnia-Herzegovina next Saturday in Sarajevo.
Meanwhile, Ebbe Sand has withdrawn from the squad due to injury.
"It is hurting and it feels tremendously bitter. But I had my fears," said Sand.
"There is the possibility to rush things, but that usually goes wrong.
"Injuries take the time they should take."
Rangers winger Peter Lovenkrands was called up as replacement by Danish coach Morten Olsen.
"Peter can not just be used on the wing as we know him. But can also play in the middle and will therefore be a back-up since we have to do without Ebbe Sand," explained Olsen to the DBU website.
The Denmark coach has also called up defenders Brian Priske and Asbjorn Sennels to the squad.
"We have followed Brian Priske closely both before and after his national team debut versus Egypt last winter.
"Recently, we have been able to note that he has got a good start for his Belgian club.
"Just like Brian Priske, we have had Asbjorn Sennels in the squad.
"They have both got to know our playing system in practice and with the full national team.
"They can both be fielded as wing backs and as central defenders and Asbjorn actually came on as central defender in his debut."
