Papadopoulos out for Pana

By Fotis Voinikas
Panathinaikos have been dealt a blow with the news that Dimitrios Papadopoulos is out of action for a month with a thigh injury.

The 23-year-old was replaced just before half time in Pana's 3-0 victory over PAOK Salonika on Sunday and is ruled out of next Tuesday's final UEFA Champions League Group E match against Rangers.

Papadopoulos's absence will be a blow to Pana as they take on the Scottish champions still clinging to hopes of finishing in third place.

Alex McLeish's men currently sit third in the group and will be hoping the Ibrox crowd will spur them on so they can continue to watch European action, albeit in the form of the Uefa Cup.
