The 21-year-old has caught the eye with a string of taking displays for RKC Waalwijk this term, with a host of teams jockeying for position ahead of the summer.
Glasgow giants Rangers are keen on the midfielder, as are the likes of AZ Alkmaar, NEC Nijmegen and Utrecht.
Boutahar is almost certain to leave RKC in the summer, with the player informing the club he wants a fresh challenge, but he is leaning towards remaining in Holland as opposed to a foreign adventure.
"I would prefer to play in Holland for another year," Boutahar told De Telegraaf about the possibility of moving abroad.
Boutahar is owned by Feyenoord but they are not thought to be keen on bringing him back to De Kuip, which will allow him to move on a free in the summer.
