Porto have been left to count the cost of a robust clash with Rangers.Porto have been left to count the cost of a robust clash with Rangers in the UEFA Champions League.
The Portuguese giants were far from enamoured with the physical nature of their Scottish counterparts during Tuesday's clash, where they eventually fell to a 3-2 defeat.
Croatian striker Tomislav Sokota suffered a serious injury, with tests having now revealed he has ruptured ligaments.
Sokota will go under the knife in ten days and is likely to need four months' recuperation before he can compete again for first team football.
Joining Sokota in a congested treatment room is defender Pedro Emmanuel, who is out for two weeks with a broken nose.
Completing a hat-trick of absentees for Porto is Brazilian Kleper Pepe, with the stopper having suffered a muscle strain that keeps him out of domestic action at the weekend.
