Jeremy Clement says he is ready to make his Rangers comeback against Motherwell.
Jeremy Clement says he is fit and ready to make his Rangers return in Saturday's game against Motherwell.
The summer signing from Lyon has not featured for The Gers in their last seven games due to a knee injury, but could come back to bolster Paul Le Guen's midfield at Ibrox.
Clement faces stiff competition to claim a starting role at the Glasgow giants and is unlikely to play the full 90 minutes, but the 22-year-old says he is ready to perform if called upon.
"I am feeling much better and there is no pain in my leg anymore," said Clement.
"I am ready to play this weekend if the manager needs me, though, of course, it will take some time before I am fully match-fit.
"The midfielders have all been playing well which is great for the team.
"I don't know if I will get back in the team as that is the choice of the manager.
"People always get in the team on merit and I have to earn the right to play.
"Barry [Ferguson], Charlie [Adam] and Brahim [Hemdani] have all been playing well but I am not surprised - I always knew they were very good players."
