Falkirk boss John Hughes has told Rangers to be 'realistic' if they want to land Alan Gow.
Falkirk boss John Hughes has told Rangers to be 'realistic' if they want to land midfielder Alan Gow during the transfer window.
The Gers have already seen two bids for the 24-year-old former Airdrie man, who is out of contract at the end of the season, swiftly rejected.
Hughes believes Rangers' bids to date have been so wide of the mark that he might as well table a cheeky bid for Barry Ferguson.
"Rangers will have to get real if they want him just now," stated Hughes. "What they have offered is unacceptable and unrealistic.
"I might as well say that I am planning to sign Barry Ferguson - that's just as unreal as what they are doing.
"If Rangers want the player now so he is ready for their challenge to Celtic next season then they'll have to pay up."
