Marco Donadel is confident Fiorentina can see off Rangers at home and book their place in the final of the Uefa Cup.
Rangers held the Italians to a goalless draw in last week's first leg at Ibrox and will progress to the Manchester showpiece with a score draw or a victory in Florence.
Donadel believes Rangers were too negative in Glasgow but accepts that Fiorentina will have to be at their best to end their European campaign.
Fiorentina booked their place in the last four with a 2-0 victory at PSV Eindhoven after their home leg finished 1-1.
And Donadel said: "We need to go into the game with the same mentality as in Eindhoven, giving all we have right from the start, making Rangers aware that it is going to be difficult for them.
"I think the first leg only illustrated their unwillingness to concede a goal and that we were looking to get one.
"0-0 was the result they were looking for."
Fiorentina are busy trying to secure fourth spot in Serie A but Donadel insists his team are focused on the Uefa Cup.
"We now have a bit of extra determination," he said.
"We need to win and push much harder. It is hard to get a quick game going against a side who are so compact, so we will have to press them far up the field and play a game of the type we are capable of playing.
"It is great to hear the enthusiasm of the whole city, which is close to us."
